Using the plan designed within Tier One, Lockwood Technology will implement the entire asset tracking plan and will:

Customize and integrate automation tools - We will alter our products to suit your needs. We will integrate our products to seamlessly work within your existing business practices and share information with your existing enterprise information flow.

Ensure controls are applied at all control points - We will identify your control points, ensure that the automated tools we deploy at these junctures adhere to, and enforce your internal controls, and that these tools seamlessly integrate with the practices that are followed at each point. The end-result of this effort will be to share information electronically, from point-to-point, to automate information gathering and to remove the possibility for introduction of errors.

Conduct a Physical Inventory - Our expert teams will quickly, and quietly conduct a complete physical inventory of everything you use to run your business, both tangible and intangible assets. We can use whatever technology suits your needs from bar coding to radio frequency to global positioning. We can collect any information you desire, from department, to employee to project, to size, color, etc. We can even take digital photographs of each item and include it in your database!

Reconcile information - A significant task that follows a physical inventory is the comparison of the information gathered during the inventory to existing information repositories, such as a fixed asset general ledger. Using FASB-accepted practices, our teams will conduct your information reconciliation for you. We apply both automated tools, and power of deduction using human intellect. We have a number of methods to relate disparate items to one another and we have concrete methods to insure the validity of reconciliation.

Test results - Of prime importance to Lockwood Technology is to measure the effectiveness of the plan once it has been implemented and has been operational for a period of time. Using refined methodologies, we test your asset tracking program, identify weak areas, and implement resolutions to reinforce those that have been identified.

Train your employees - The basis of this program is to Take You There. What this means to us is to get you to a point where control has been established through the implementation of our plan (using our products and services) at which point you will provide ongoing administration of the asset tracking program using your own resources. We prepare your employees for this ongoing administration through a series of training sessions geared towards this initiative.
